I work with glass, loving the play
of light and colour,
reflection and transparency.
The work is informed by my love
of the environment, it celebrates
Australia's space, light and freedom.
The glass itself is a major influence
in my design.
It is not an easy material
to work with, but it has
some glorious characteristics.
Designs are always the result of a
partnership between my
ideas and the glass.
Layers of glass may be fused in the
kiln, to make new colours and shapes.
Fused glass is draped over hand made
molds to form sculptural work.
I make pictures, panels and glass sculpture
and trophies. My work is sold in galleries
and I take commissions.
