Studio Bonnici
Studio Bonnici is a multi-faceted production concept
which touches on the fields of
Textiles/Fashion/Design/Art/Photography
Craft/Music/Writing and Education.

My name is Megan Bonnici and I work from my home
studio in Hoppers Crossing, Victoria.

I have a degree in Textile Design, and my major specialisation
is knitting. I freelance for a number of companies around
Australia, and have had original patterns and articles
published in Creative Knitting magazine. I have exhibited my
work and sold through galleries in several states.

After over thirty years of knitting experience (I started young!)
I have a lot to share about designing for knitwear.
I'm hoping to have a handbook for Creative Knit Design
that I have written published soon.

The digital revolution has opened up many possibilities for the
creation of fabulous images. I am exploring ways of merging
sketches and photographs with knitted samples to produce
visual delights for greeting cards, publication, desktop
wallpaper and story illustration.
